Something you search for—
The Pearl of Great Price.
But how it is sore
When you’ve found that Great Pearl
—Not shining nice,
Nor yielding its ground—
It firmly stays put,
And stiffly says “No.”
Will you Die for that pearl?
Or will You simply let Go?
I found this little poem interesting, if enigmatic (which I suppose is your style!). I guess one question is why you see the Kingdom of Heaven as something distant that refuses to be held, when Christ comes among us and says 'the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.'
